The Carer Support Team are
available for Carers to speak to either in person or by telephone.
You can discuss your thoughts and feelings in confidence, Carers
often tell us that this allows them to reflect on their caring role,
and assists them to manage their stress and worry. The Carer's
Centre recognise that our core services are not always available
when Carers require them, and below are lists of alternative sources
of support.

quality of life for those aged 50+. Offer both group
and one to one sessions. Also link individuals to

ALZHEIMER'S CAFE

- Online support group for Carers of someone with
dementia. Chance to talk on line to other Carers, and
to read about latest news for dementia services
ANGER MANAGEMENT - Courses provided by Women's Aid MAPP (Merseyside Abusive
Partners Programme), those who attend do not have to be
affected by domestic violence. Telephone 01744 621119,
clients will usually be contacted within 2 - 4 days to
discuss issues
BEREAVEMENT

affected by the loss of a child. Meet at the Gamble

MEDIATION - 0151 260 9155 for appointments (first one free) .
Service provided by PSS. During first appointment will have
discussion with a mediator to discuss situation and see what
costs may be (could be free). They they write to other
parties involved in problem, ask them to a meeting.

Charity providing various activities to encourage community
