FALLS PREVENTION SERVICE - St Helens & Knowsley Hospitals

Actively promotes falls prevention approaches, including doing a detailed assessment of an individual in the home. The aims of the service are to promote and support independent living and to enable persons aged 55 and over at risk of falling to proactively control and manage their lives.

If you or someone you know has fallen in the last year or is at risk of falling, then you can contact the Falls Prevention Service for information or to refer in to the service. Persons referred will be able to have:-

Multi-factorial falls risk assessment
Multi-factorial falls risk intervention
Strength and balance exercise programmes
Home hazard and safety intervention
Medication Reviews
