Listen 4 Change is the name of your Parent Carer Forum. The Forum is supported by St Helens Carers
Centre although it is set up as a independent body governed by the
The Forum is very informal and meets in the daytime and evening 8 times a year. The Forum is open to all parent carers within the St. Helens area.
Our key aims are:
- To provide parent carers with information about the services they need to support them and their families
To ensure that parents voices are heard and that they are listened to when shaping, developing and commissioning local services
How do we do this?
- By holding regular Forum meetings where parents can come together to share their advice, experience and knowledge with each other
- By inviting Lead Professionals along who can inform parents about the services available locally and also gather parents views to help shape, develop and commission future services
